Coronavirus - Brandon Style

BK Today is March 26th.   The coronavirus pandemic is in day 12 of this distancing.   Week #2 for school, officially week #1.  It stops us from coming to school because we cannot be in large groups.   It impacts the economy by stopping people from making things in productions.  Then we cannot make products for other people.  The chain goes from China to the US and all over the world.  Gov Evers says to do the Get in/Stay i for a month.   It's going to be a long month.

Quarantine

Well, my last post was 2012, so it seems i am a tad behind.  HA Coronovirus COVID-19 QUARANTINE 2020   is what has gotten this start back up. I need to journal what is going on at home, work (home) and school (home).   More just to keep track and not necessarily for anyone else to pay attention to.   On Monday, March 9th, I traveled to Philadelphia for a work trip - actually then trained it to Atlantic City for the Tri State Camp Conference.  The virus was just going crazy at this time and we ended up being directed to come home a day early.  4i wanted us as grounded as we possible could be.  We cleaned up the trade show early (NEVER happens) and headed back home on Thursday.    Brandon had school on Friday, but Friday afternoon, the state also announced all schools were going to have a mandatory shut down from 3/18- 4/6.  I worked at home on Friday, March 13th and we all chatted about how crazy this was, all weekend long.    Sat was my birthday and we went to a fundraiser at th

Melt down

Oh, the four year old screaming "mommy, come in here- my feet are freezing!"  "I NEED you!"  I told him I would come in and speak to him when he was calm and in his bed.  Well, that was 25 minutes ago.  He has been freaking out ever since and little does he realize he could pause the screaming for 3/4 of a second and I would consider that "being quite and calm" and rush over.  But alas, he won't.   These children push your buttons, make you so angry and frustrated you could scream, but then you hear him coughing and want to run in and wipe his boogies off on my own sleeve.  I cannot do it.  I have to hold my ground.  If  I cave this time, he has learned he can do what he wants, when he wants.  If I cave this time, I HAVE TAUGHT him those things.   This is like torcher for me  and I am not sure how long I can hold out....

Photo-a-Day #3

Day #1 (well, actually Day #3)  (actually #3, but since i haven't hung my calendar yet, it's day #1 for me) I will not guarantee I will last thru this as my follow through tends to, well, STINK. But for today, I am on board Jen and I will try the photo-a-day challenge with you. Let's all keep in mind that I am NOT a photographer, nor do I claim to be - let's see how many days I can do! This is a couple of the wonderful Penzey spices I received for Christmas - going to do a chicken sampler marinade for dinner next week!
