Little Farmer 2008

Our Trip to the Little Farmer.  It was a chilly, but sunny day. Gracie-girl. She is so photogenic. Don't be starting something you aren't willing to finish... Brett, Carly & Gracie feed the "starving" goats. Brandon bundled up but checking out everything going around him. Sisters. Friends. Worst Enemies. They have it all. Just hangin' out on the hay. Daddy shows Brandon the scene... ...and quite the busy scene it is! Cousins.  What a sight. (I love this chair. I want it in my yard.) I almost had to pay Chase to pose for this picture....but how cute! Oh ya, and we did find some pumpkins too!

The Short Version

The short version is we now are a "family". We have a mom, a dad, a dog, a cat, and a little boy named Brandon. He came to us last April and life has been a whirlwind since. I could have never imagined what life would be with him and even if I could, I couldn't have imagined it being as wonderful as it actually is. We adopted Brandon. We thought about adoption for a long time and were closing in on our 9th anniversary when my husband's sister had a friend that had a friend that had a hair dresser that had a niece that was pregnant and thinking of adoption. Whew. Who would have known it would end up this way? We couldn't have been luckier with the situation, the birth mom, the birth dad and all the other relatives that floated in and out of the picture. I thought about blogging about it during the process, but to be quite honest, I was too paranoid that if I actually wrote down something this good was happening, the birth mother would change her mind, the j...
