 I am REALLY glad that I spent an entire day picking up leaves.     Right back to square one.   I am not sure why i am surprised ever year, about how many leaves we have.  I haven't even looked at the front of the house yet.  They will look really nice with snow on them.  :)   Fall is so pretty, but so messy.

Little bit of Halloween!

I am usually not very good at Halloween decorating.  Mainly because I have such little storage and I don't really know where to keep much of that stuff.   That being said, I did find a few candles and used what I had around the house to make a pumpkin topiary.   (stole this idea from a nursery in town) It turned out better than I thought!    On to the next project....                         Have a Happy Halloween!!

http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/ Ah, what fun.  I love this blog and i love to just strole thru and be inspired.  Thanks Elsie!  When I actually get a bit further in my organizing and shop/craft/studio room- i will try to post some fun stuff.  This just makes me think FALL - bring on the leaves, orange, rust, yellows - and warm fires too!

Day 17

Day 17. Well, there were a few "cheats" along the way, but for the most part, I stuck to my diet. I have NEVER actually gone on a diet before and it turns out, I don't care for it much.     There is a light at the end of this tunnel and the good news??   Well, I did loose 8 pounds.    17 days, 8 pounds.   it could have been more, if I would have really stuck to my guns.   I also ate a few things i didn't realize I shouldn't have.   (peas and carrots, for instance- too many carbs) I have learned how to curb my eating and not eat so much.  Volume control is a major issue for me.  I eat way more than i ever did and now it seems to be getting back to where it should be.  Hopefully, I can read on to section #2 in the book and continue on.   I feel success and smaller jeans in my future.
