Black Friday- or Greyish Thursday

I made it.  I survived.  My friend, Jen and I tagged along with veteran shopper friend, Jodi.
We met at Target at 10:30 pm on Thanksgiving night and shopped until 5am.  It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.  Although, we did stop at Children's Place and Shopko and chose not buying anything to avoid standing in lines.   The rest of the stores were not as bad as they could have been, and from what I hear, were not as bad as every other year.   The stores opened too early this year.  Some at 9pm or 10pm and most everything was open (EXCEPT STARBUCKS- DUH) by midnight.

I left the girls about 5am and drove back to my town - got a second wind and ended up at 3 more stores before I called it a "night" (or morning).  I got home by 7:30am on Black Friday.   If you go very organized and with a couple of friends, it can be fun.  I would rather get up at 2am, though.   Staying up all night ends up feeling like you are on a big bender or something and I accomplished NOTHING on friday.

Now, it is time to take inventory and see how many shopping items I still need for Christmas.  Let's hope I made some serious progress.

Just finishing up few days filled with Thanksgiving goodies, shopping, and clean up the rest of the yard before the snow flies.  Gobble Gobble
